Not every book retailer demands an ISBN number. Nor does not having one take away your rights as an author. But having ones makes your book feel more personal and truly your own.
Get your ISBN Number:
- Canadian ISBN numbers are free. All you have to do is create an account and apply for one.
- They will email you with a username and password. Follow their simple instructions and you'll have an account that you can access any time to acquire one.
- Go to The ISBN Service Centre, apply for your account and wait for instructions.
