Backwards, the sequel to Alternate, is another hair raising time travel adventure by Ernie Luis.  Allie has successfully altered Grey's timeline.  But now the Agency has declared them both having gone rogue. However, that's the least of Grey's problems when he learns the dangerous secret that the Agency has been hiding.

The story begins right where Alternate left off, catapulting the reading into a fast paced and twisting plotline.  But just as you breathe a sigh of relief, a new mystery presents itself.  Once again, leaving you sitting at the edge of your seat wanting more.  

The author has once again produced a well written piece of work.  The characters are real and alive and his use of dialogue and detail only enhances the story.  In a nutshell, I loved it.
